The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing medical billing policies and procedures, developing billing practices, leading software implementations, and building a robust and dedicated team.Responsibilities:1. Develop and establish medical billing policies and procedures in line with industry standards.2. Plan and implement advanced billing software systems.3. Oversee, create and manage the entire billing and collection process.4. Network and obtain Medi-Cal providers.5. Formulate billing services related to doula services and other L& D services.6. Quality assurance and process improvements for all billing activities.7. Assemble, guide, and manage a high-performing medical billing team.8. Develop and refine billing practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.9. Manage and resolve patient billing disputes promptly and professionally.10. Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate coding and billing.11. Ensure software implementation aligns with business requirements and regulatory standards.This position will start in office then switch to a hybrid remote schedule.
